Lee Kang-in is set to be rested in Paris Saint-Germain’s UEFA Champions League tie against AC Milan. The South Korean midfielder suffered a foot injury during last weekend’s 3-0 victory over Montpellier HSC.
Kang-in has made the trip with his PSG teammates, despite sustaining the injury, however, he didn’t participate in Monday’s training session at the San Siro in full. He therefore looks set to be rested and replaced by Vitinha. The South Korean could, however, make an appearance from the bench.
Lucas Hernandez, who dropped to the bench for the match against Montpellier, will start against Milan, where he will face his brother, Théo Hernandez. The major question, as it has been throughout the season so far, is who will start in attack. According to L’Équipe, Randal Kolo Muani is set to get the nod ahead of Gonçalo Ramos.
