According to L’Équipe Paris Saint-Germain are plotting a third bid for Lyon midfielder Rayan Cherki (19) – the club reportedly are adamant on their desire to recruit the young player, whilst Lyon still want to hold on Cherki.
PSG don’t want enter discussion with the player on personal terms until they reach an agreement with Les Gones.
PSG are also exploring other options in case Lyon refuses the offer, such as Arda Güler (17) from Fenerbahçe, but the president of Fenerbahçe is reluctant to let him go. Another option is in Italy, but it is not Nicolo Zaniolo.
A Tweet posted by Olympique Lyonnais’ president Jean-Michel Aulas had indicated that 19-year-old Rayan Cherki would stay with Les Gones, despite Paris-Saint-Germain’s interest. “If there is one thing on which we all agree – supporters, club, staff, and the players – it is that a talent such as Cherki will remain in Lyon,” the president noted.
