Paris Saint-Germain are still hoping to sign French international forward Randal Kolo Muani from Eintracht Frankfurt this summer, according to a report this afternoon from RMC Sport‘s Fabrice Hawkins.
The former Nantes man has told the Bundesliga club’s management that he would like to leave this summer, and the Ligue 1 champions are now in talks to find an agreement with the forward over the terms of a prospective contract. Although the arrival of Gonçalo Ramos has alleviated PSG’s issues in terms of forward depth, the club are still looking to strengthen their options in the wake of departures for Lionel Messi, Neymar, and potentially Kylian Mbappé.
The 2022 Europa League champions, though, are sticking to their valuation of just under €100m for Kolo Muani, who scored 23 goals and registered 17 assists in all competitions in a breakout season last year. They are also hoping to bring in another French attacking sensation in Montpellier’s Elye Wahi as his replacement, although the German outfit face competition from West Ham and Chelsea.
