According to Le Parisien, PSG want to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen (24) this summer in a bid to bolster their attack. Any deal for the Nigerian forward will likely be an expensive one, with Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis commanding a fee in the region of €130m for his services.
Paris want to bring in a centre forward this summer and Luis Campos has already begun exploring the market for options. In addition to their interest in Osimhen, Les Parisiens want to sign French international forward Marcus Thuram, according to L’Équipe.
With Mbappé’s desire to play off a focal point in the centre of the Paris attack, one of the key points of inspiration in their pursuit of the Nigerian is to complement Mbappé. To the same effect, Luis Campos is also exploring a move for Manchester City’s Bernardo Silva.
However, Napoli aren’t keen on selling Osimhen, hence the large price tag they have set. PSG will also face fierce competition for his signature, with Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Manchester United all also reportedly interested in signing the former Lille forward.
