PSG’s Fabián Ruiz out for the rest of the season with adductor injury

With the team on the cusp of a record-breaking 11th Ligue 1 title, Paris Saint-Germain travel to face Strasbourg tomorrow with what will once again be a depleted squad, with Christophe Galtier already dealing with long-term absences for the likes of Neymar, Presnel Kimpembe and Nuno Mendes.

The club has indicated this morning that captain Marquinhos was sidelined for today’s training session as a result of a light adductor issue. Midfielder Fabián Ruiz has suffered a similar issue, albeit more serious, that will keep him out of action for the next ten days – effectively ending his season, with two games left to go.

Hugo Ekitike – who had seen his playing time increase of late – will also be unavailable for tomorrow’s match, as a result of a hamstring issue.

Les Parisiens travel east with a six-point lead on Lens with two games left to go – any point will be enough to be crowned champions, before they return to the Parc des Princes next week to end their season against Clermont.
