Randal Kolo Muani “flattered” by PSG interest but “dreams” of playing in the Premier League

Speaking exclusively with Canal Football Club on Canal Plus, Eintracht Frankfurt forward Randal Kolo Muani (24) said that whilst he was flattered by Paris Saint-Germain’s interest, he dreams of playing in the Premier League.

Kolo Muani joined the Bundesliga club from FC Nantes on a free transfer last summer and has since excelled, scoring 23 goals in 45 matches. However, there are rumours circulating that the France international’s stay at Frankfurt may be a short one. Kolo Muani has been linked with clubs across Europe, including Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and Bayern Munich, although the Frenchman did seem to commit his future to Eintracht Frankfurt, stating that I’m here for a while longer in a press conference. Should he leave, Frankfurt would make a handsome profit, with the German club unwilling to part for their asset for less than €60m.

However, speaking on Canal Football Club, Kolo Muani has expressed a desire to one day play in the Premier League. “It’s flattering that PSG are interested in you, like all the other big clubs. It’s not just because you come from the Parisian region and grow up there that you should automatically play for PSG,” said Kolo Muani in an interview transcribed by L’Équipe.

He added, “Honestly, who doesn’t dream of playing in the Premier League? It’s one of the best leagues that exists. You dream about it. These are childhood dreams. But I’m not searching for the perfect club or the best club in the world. I’m really looking for the club that will give me the chance to be able to express myself, to earn gametime and most importantly allow me to grow.” The former Canari didn’t rule out remaining at Eintracht Frankfurt.
