According to L’Équipe, Stade Rennais have submitted a €12m offer for Tottenham Hotspur centre-back Davinson Sánchez (27).
The French publication has added that Daniel Levy’s stance on the move has changed in the past days, and he may now be more willing to let Sánchez, whose Tottenham contract expires at the end of the season, leave the club this summer. After constructive talks with Rennes, Levy may now let Sánchez leave for less than the €20m that was being demanded just a few days ago.
Sánchez himself has decided that he wants to join Bruno Génésio’s side, and the Colombian international is ready to travel to France once an agreement between the two clubs has been reached. He would likely sign a five-year deal with the Ligue 1 club. Whilst Sánchez may join Rennes, Arthur Theate could yet leave, with Serie A side Fiorentina particularly interested in the Belgian international centre-back.
