According to Foot Mercato, the last two days of the January transfer window could see movement for Marseille’s American winger Konrad de La Fuente – who hasn’t played for Olympiakos (where he is on a season-long loan) since 11th September.
Dutch Eredivisie pair Utrecht and AZ Alkmaar are interested in signing the player, along with EFL Championship side Preston North End.
Marseille loaned American winger Konrad de la Fuente (21) to Greek club Olympiacos as he was not part of OM manager Igor Tudor’s plans for the season.
The 21-year-old joined the Greek giants on loan, having previously been linked with a season-long loan to Real Valladolid.
Upon his arrival from Barcelona last summer, de la Fuente started well with Marseille, after being signed for a €3m fee, but saw his playing time decrease as the season progressed. An injury in the spring limited his appearances to just 23 for the year.
