Despite Paris Saint-Germain’s reported interest in Napoli’s Victor Osimhen (24), the player’s entourage has denied reports of contact with Les Parisiens in an interview with Mundo Deportivo.
During the interview with the Spanish media, his entourage stated, “Everything that is being said is false. It’s early to talk about the transfer window. A lot of people are trying to destabilize at this point. There is nothing.”
The Nigerian striker, who is the top scorer in Serie A, has been linked with a move to the Ligue 1 club ahead of the summer transfer window. The link to Napoli’s number 9 and PSG is an easy one to make considering the Ligue 1 champion’s sporting advisor is Luís Campos, who played a key role in Osimhen’s move to Lille in 2019.
While he could be key in an attempt to convince the 24-year-old to join the French capital club, there is notable interest from clubs across Europe. There are also reports that the forward favours a move to the Premier League, per a report by Foot Mercato. If PSG do make a move for Osimhen, it is reported that Napoli value him at around €150m.
