Zinédine Zidane rejects offer to manage Al-Nassr

Having been out of management since the end of his second spell in charge of Real Madrid in 2021, Zinédine Zidane remains one of the most in-demand names in football – the French midfield legend has notably been strongly linked to both the France job as well as Paris Saint-Germain.

Another one of the 50-year-old’s clubs from his playing in Juventus are also interested, with Massimiliano Allegri’s future at the club far from sealed. Zidane’s only concrete offer so far, though, has come from Saudi Arabia’s Al-Nassr, according to a report from Foot Mercato this evening.

The Riyadh-based club, which drafted in Cristiano Ronaldo this season, recently parted ways with Rudi Garcia. An offer worth €150m over two seasons has been put forward to Zidane, which he has already rejected, Foot Mercato add. The former Ballon d’Or winner would rather move to a club in one of the top five European leagues instead, in the knowledge that he will have several potential suitors once he decides to make his return to management official.
