Details of Kylian Mbappé’s Real Madrid arrival confirmed

Kylian Mbappé’s (25) move from Paris Saint-Germain to Real Madrid was confirmed at the end of June, however, due to the ongoing Euros, in which he was participating with France, his presentation had to wait.

As of 1st July, Mbappé is no longer a Paris Saint-Germain player. The France captain left Les Parisiens in rather acrimonious circumstances, bringing an end to seven years at the club. With France reaching the semi-finals of Euro 2024, his presentation at his new club has had to wait.

In an official statement, Real Madrid have now confirmed that Mbappé will be presented at the Bernabéu on Tuesday 16th July at midday local time. He will be presented alongside President Florentino Peréz.

It has also been confirmed that Mbappé will wear the No.9 jersey for his new club. Mbappé’s compatriot, Karim Benzema, who left Los Blancos to ply his trade in Saudi Arabia 12 months ago, was the last player to wear the jersey for the La Liga giants.
