Lens predicted XI v Nice: Facundo Medina returns after serving suspension

Franck Haise’s RC Lens will look to take advantage of OGC Nice’s recent struggles to propel themselves further up the table and towards the goal of Champions League qualification. Only one change from the side that defeated Stade Brestois last weekend.

After serving his one-game suspension, centre-back Facundo Medina returns once more to the starting lineup as his temporary replacement Abdukodir Khusanov drops to the bench. In attack, Elye Wahi will be chosen to lead the line as the Frenchman tries to re-spark his recent goal-scoring run.

In midfield, Haise will give the nod to Neil El Aynaoui and Nampalys Mendy over Salis Abdul-Samed and Andy Diouf, in a selection that highlights consistency as the theme of the manager’s selection.

Lens likely lineup v Nice

Brice Samba; Facundo Medina, Kevin Danso, Jonathan Gradit; Przemysław Frankowski, Neil El Aynaoui, Nampalys Mendy, Ruben Aguilar; David Pereira da Costa, Elye Wahi, Florian Sotoca. (L’Éq)
