Lille and Nice interested in Bruno Génésio

Bruno Génésio has been out of work since he was fired from Stade Rennais in November but looks to be eyeing up a return to the bench this summer.

There have been reports that Lille have made contact with Génésio as they look to replace Paulo Fonseca at the end of the season. The Portuguese head coach’s contract expires soon and he has made no intention of extending beyond this campaign.

Nice could also be interested in Bruno Génésio

However, Foot Mercato reports that there is another club that could soon be looking for a new manager. OGC Nice and Francesco Farioli look like they could be heading towards an early divorce as Ajax circle the waters for the Italian head coach.

Foot Mercato suggests that Nice have made contact over the future opportunity with Génésio, a manager who has extensive experience in Ligue 1, and after a brief sabbatical would like a return to coaching in the top division of French football.
