Lyon predicted XI v Valenciennes: Rayan Cherki a doubt, Saïd Benrahma to start

Rayan Cherki is a doubt to face Valenciennes as Olympique Lyonnais look to book their place in the Coupe de France final on Tuesday.

The France U21 international, who suffered a small calf injury on Thursday, was brought off at half-time against Stade de Reims at the weekend. Pierre Sage later revealed that it was a cautionary measure. Cherki will undergo tests on the injury on Monday, however, Lyon are hopeful that they will be able to count on the player against Valenciennes.

It leaves interim manager Sage with plenty of options in attack heading into the encounter, with players such as Saïd Benrahma, Gift Orban, Malick Fofana, Ernest Nuamah and Mama Baldé all pushing for a start in the Coupe de France encounter.

Lyon likely lineup v Valenciennes
