Moussa Diaby returns to France squad, Bradley Barcola misses out

Didier Deschamps has announced the France squad for the upcoming international friendlies against Germany (23rd March) and Chile (26th March). Aston Villa’s Moussa Diaby makes his return for Les Bleus, however, Paris Saint-Germain’s Bradley Barcola, heavily tipped to be included, has missed out.

Adrien Rabiot has also made the 23-man squad. It was expected that the Juventus midfielder would miss out after suffering a foot injury in late February, however, he makes Deschamps’ list. Despite currently being sidelined, Liverpool’s Ibrahima Konaté has made the squad, at the expense of Chelsea’s Axel Disasi and OGC Nice’s Jean-Clair Todibo.
