PSG predicted XI v Reims: Kylian Mbappé and Gianluigi Donnarumma in doubt

An impressive performance for Luis Enrique’s Paris Saint-Germain over Real Sociedad during the week had momentarily lifted the tension surrounding the PSG squad. Kylian Mbappé had put in a star turn to cruise into the quarter-finals with a 2-1 victory on the night and a 4-1 win on aggregate.

The focus would again return to whether Luis Enrique would play Mbappé against Stade de Reims, and the manager provided no hints. Joking only that his decision would “Depend on the sun. Whether it’s hot or not.” The forward has for the last three league games seen reduced minutes, and it’s expected that he’ll be rested again today.

Keylor Navas could see his second start for the season as the manager rests Gianluigi Donnarumma. Lucas Hernandez chosen to start as a centre-back during the injury crisis that saw Marquinhos and Danilo Pereira miss the La Real game will move back out wide with the return of Pereira.
